I walked over a ridge and surprised this deer. Look at that expression, deer- caught- in- headlight, or in this case, camera flash. It didn’t run away until I stepped on a twig.

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder
I think cemeteries are pretty cool and beautiful. I’ve never found them scary or creepy. I have my mother to thank for that. When she was pregnant with my sister we lived next door to one and we’d go for walks through it. So, for me they’ve always been rather calming and peaceful. Plus, why would a ghost hang around one anyway? There isn’t anyone there. It would be rather boring. I, however, find them fascinating. Seeing who’s buried where, how old was the person when they died, who’s got the coolest headstone. I went for a fall color appreciation drive today and ended up at the cemetery.

LOVE the blog Jo! You must keep this updated (hopefully more updated than mine-lol) because it's my new favorite read. :) Love the handmade hats! I took Jamie's today at his birthday party and got a cute pic with him. I think he was unsure about whether or not I was going to give it back!
