My Grandpa passed away this morning. He was fighting a host of ailments but I just assumed he would always be around. Seriously, there is no way cancer or congestive heart failure was going to take him out unless he was good and ready to go.

A joke I remember him saying: "I have dunlap disease. My belly has dun lapped over my belt!"

Foggy with Frost

Two days in a row I wake up to a very white world. It has not only frosted during the night but it's also quite foggy. I think it's beautiful so still wearing my pajama's I put on my boots and grab my camera and this is what I see.

This is Jaime's version of a salute. It's usually a few inches above his head, and he goes "Yes sir!" Con was trying to teach him the right way but to no avail.

Antics

Today Jamie was runny around the house yelling at the top of his lungs "I'm making nosies!" Yes, yes you are. Any chance of you stopping? "No!" Which, honestly, was fine because I couldn't stop laughing long enough to catch him anyway.

Holidaze

I went to see my sister a few days after Christmas and her family followed me home for new years! It was fantastic, the kids had a blast, and I think the parents did too :)
