You know it's going to be a good day when you wake up in the morning and everything outside is sparkling like glitter was sprinkled around. This is the view that I woke up to this morning. My phone didn’t quite capture all the sparkle off the ice covered trees but I think you get the idea. Gotta love Michigan weather!

Spring has Sprung
A lot happened this weekend. We had a supermoon, a thunder rain/snow storm, and the first day of spring! The full moon was the closest it’s been to the earth since 1993 on March 19th. It was 14% larger than normal. Could you tell? I was driving down the highway and it was gigantic! It looked like it was half the size of the horizon and orange. Unfortunately, by the time I made it home and snagged my camera it looked normal again. I was totally bummed that I wasn’t able to snag a picture.
We also had some pretty awesome thunderstorms yesterday. It was fun to be driving through the big, fluffy chunks of snow only to have them turn into rain. Ahhh, the joys of living in Michigan. But no worries, if you want the weather to change just blink. There must have been a lot of blinking going on yesterday; the weather just couldn’t make up its mind. I’m glad for the rain and the beginning of spring!
Then the world starts to look like this again. *sign* welcome back color, I've missed you.

Today Everyone's Irish!
To celebrate St Patrick's Day I’ve put together a smorgasbord of Irish inspired goodies. Enjoy!
1. Lean Gaelic for free (today at least) at MangoLanguages.com. How totally awesome is that!?
2. Corned Beef and Cabbage recipe from allrecipies.com
3. A ton of Irish recipes and baking ideas from irelandseye.com
4. Chocolate Stout Cupcakes with Bailey's Cream Cheese Frosting from livewithcarnivore.com. I can personally attest to how awesome these are! Delicious!
Hope your day is filled with luck!

Strangely Fascinated
I’m strangely fascinated with Ghost Adventures, which airs Friday nights at 9pm on the Travel Channel. I don’t have cable and had never heard of this show before stumbling upon it on Netflix. Now I watch an episode or two a night. This has been going on for a few weeks now and I still can’t help myself.
Part of my addiction comes from how Zak dresses and the faces Aaron makes but the other part comes from being terrified! It’s awesome! They use all this new fangled equipment and my eyes water all most every episode (that’s an indicator that I’m scared and utterly creeped out). I want to go get an EMF detector and see what it shows in my house! Muh ha ha…
